Bio: Constanza Baez is a 22-year-old who was born in Quito, Ecuador. Raised in Guayaquil, Constanza fostered her love for sports, nutrition and education. Constanza graduated with an economics degree from an elite German University. She has participated in numerous philanthropic ventures, including a campaign she started to create awareness of the importance for blood donation in Ecuador.

1. Constanza’s mother competed in Miss Universe Ecuador in 1985 where she came in third, going on to represent Ecuador in an international pageant.
2. Constanza has swam with a variety of underwater animals in the Galápagos Islands including sharks, sea lions, marine turtles and dolphins.
3. Constanza co-hosted a television program called “Reto de Valientes” (an Ecuadorian version of Fear Factor), where she has grabbed snakes and ate worms!
