On February 17, 2009 all full-power broadcast television stations in the United States will stop broadcasting on analog airwaves and begin broadcasting only in digital. If you have an analog TV and you don't subscribe to a cable or satellite television service, you will either need to buy a digital television set or you will have to buy a converter box for each analog television in your home, to continue watching most local television stations.
