Miami, September 13, 2013 - Telemundo Internacional announces its new productions for MIPCOM 2013. Following a milestone in Telemundo’s history with an outstanding performance this summer, led by The Lord of the Skies (El Señor de los Cielos) and The Return (La Patrona), Telemundo Internacional presents Broken Angel (Santa Diabla), Labour of Love (Dama y Obrero) and Marido en Alquiler (My Dear Handyman) - titles bringing new emotions, in line with the company’s offer of telenovelas that are different.

Broken Angel, a story of suspense and love starring Gaby Espino, Aaron Diaz and Carlos Ponce, arrives at MIPCOM with the boldness of its characters and the mysteries of its entangled story of revenge and love.

Labour of Love, starring Ana Layevska, Jose Luis Resendez and Fabian Rios, will delight audiences with its classic romance, in which Ignacia Santamaria finds her true love in Pedro Perez, her subordinate, just before she is to marry her longtime boyfriend Tomas Villamayor. This difficult situation will force her to confront her emotions and the expectations of her social status.

My Dear Handyman, a coproduction with Globo, offers the freshness of a modern drama with an exquisite cast: Sonya Smith, Juan Soler, Maritza Rodriguez and Miguel Varoni, demonstrating once again the quality of Telemundo Internacional’s offer.

These productions make their international debut at MIPCOM after premiering on Telemundo in the United States this summer, following the successful run of The Return starring Aracely Arambula, Christian Bach and Jorge Luis Pila, and The Lord of the Skies, starring Rafael Amaya.

The Return, an epic drama that has reached performance records in the United States, Mexico and Panama, and captured 1.45 million viewers in the United States during its two-hour finale, making it the second most viewed telenovela in its final episode, after The Queen of the South. The telenovela also averaged over one million viewers Adults 18-49 in its on-air run.

Similarly, the Lord of the Skies, the action and passion filled mega production by Telemundo and Caracol, reached 3.6 million viewers in its final episode and surpassed other Anglo channels in the 10PM time slot in Adults 18-49, claiming first place in Spanish-language channels, and exceeding Univision by 60%.
