Miami, September 14, 2012 - Maid in Manhattan, the telenovela produced by Telemundo in association with Sony Pictures Television, and distributed by Telemundo Internacional, makes its debut in Israel on Viva Channel on Monday, September 17 at 8:00 pm.
This adaptation by Luis Zelkowicz, inspired by the motion picture with the same title, launches in Israel after finalizing in the United States on Telemundo, where it delivered the best 8:00 pm time slot finale in six years, averaging 1.02 million viewers among adults 18-49.
This telenovela, which has also led ratings in Ecuador and Panama, stars the charming onscreen couple, Litzy and Eugenio Siller, alongside Vanessa Villela, Liz Gallardo, and Paulo Quevedo.
The modern Cinderella tale tells the story of Marisa Lujan, a young Mexican woman who, for unforeseen reasons immigrated in the United States with her 10-year-old son. In Manhattan, she finds a job as a maid in one of the most luxurious and prestigious hotels in the big apple. This romantic love story flourishes when, after a twist of fate, she meets Cristobal Parker a successful businessman who mistakes her for a hotel guest. This moment marks the beginning of a story in which two hearts will reveal their true identities to make way for love.
