Telemundo Internacional, a division of the Telemundo Network, is dedicated to the sale and distribution of the network’s original content and of a programming catalog from different industry leaders in international markets. Part of the business philosophy of this division is to identify new development ideas to create original content for the industry and generate innovative businesses for the different television platforms.
Currently, Telemundo Internacional is the second producer and distributor of Spanish language content worldwide, with more than 200 slots of programming. In 2011, its content, which includes telenovelas, specials, variety and entertainment shows and reality shows aired in more than 120 countries and was dubbed and subtitled into more than 50 languages, reaching more than 56,000 air hours outside the United States and Puerto Rico.
